Santa Ana, California. In the mood for mummies and the like? Then check out Terra Cotta Warriors: Guardians of China’s First Emperor at the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California. The incredible display opened in May and will remain on view through October 12, 2008. This is the largest loan of terra cotta figures and significant artifacts to the U.S. from the tomb complex of China’s First Emperor, Qin Shi Huang (259-210 B.C.).
